    Also becoming a qualified lifeguard is a great way for young folk to earn good cash. I worked as one when I was younger and it paid very well.

    That is very true, I used to teach it ? with old resus Annie the doll ? but not all kids pay attention and I think folk should keep it in their mind a bit. I’ve been around a few situations where it saved someone’s life.

    All pups are hyper! But if I dog is goosed it tends to be pretty chilled in the house.

    Cannot imagine much worse than being in a situation where your mate or anyone is on the deck and needs help and you don’t know what to do so sit and watch them go.

    Agree. It’s also situational, different seeing sheep that don’t run, to sheep bolting out of cover etc. I’m lucky my dogs grow up with all manner of livestock around them, usually it’s just something that blends into the back ground for them. But we’ve 20 Jacob sheep up the road and they look at them in a menacing fashion ?

    100% mate! They are defy very different. Its hard to trust a dog around hill sheep unless they have grown up around them. They look very different to a lowland sheep, usually not in a flock, move different and just pop up from no where. They must smell different as I had a hound who would ignore lowland sheep but would hunt the line of hill ewes to start with until she worked it out. I dont tend to trust dogs that are really switched on to deer around any sheep in the heat of the moment to be honest.

Just talk like you, and be normal without the weird as f*ck self Promotion and wannabe Plummer book entries. “The saluki long dog is a mythical beast blah blah blah”. No one cares mate. Just be you, every one else is taken.

    Yer I was just remembering that reading this thread! My old dog was going mental in the house and someone went in and put it out before it burnt the house down! Scary stuff! As it was it just burnt a table and a bit of a wall!
