    Dingos

caught a dingo pup once but let it go my dogs just thought it was another pup and a pup we had just wanted to play but i know a fox hunter whos dogs killed one which makes sense for a tough fox dog in the spotlight but iv seen plenty of foxes come in on a sqeulin rabbit while the dogs have been on it but they piss off fast once i turn the dogs around

  5. i know u can teach a dog oviesly not to hunt livstock and with the right amount of time spent roos and i know how much a hare will take out of a dog espesically in the day and the summer but it would have to be prity hard to stop a runner chasing hares and from what u siad unlike me half my game is rabbits and i dont mind chasing a hare at night but this intreges me do u acctualy know anyone whos dog will catch and kill fox but not a hare and rabbit also the problem iv found with restricting my dogs on certian animals is that in a pack if one dog chases they all will so in the end all the tria

  12. wel i use my gsp he has a awsome nose and bushes exellent hes also very obideient but only just fast enough to catch if the bunny gets through the net not to metion he works all day my only issue with a terrier would be i cant see them catching if the rabbit slips the net also i had a jrt and it kept goin down the holes and or getting tangled in the net as well as not being able to stop himself from putting holes in the rabbits then i think the wippet wouldnt bush which is a handy triat when your around bush because my dog will always put rabbits in there holes then i can go and ferret
  13. whats it breed and age and has it been on a fox with other dogs before and did your lab and jack chase with it . Because it might have waited for u or the other dogs to back it up because thats what he's used to also if it hasnt ran with other running dogs do it so it learns what to do if it see's a dog jump the fence while in chase it will do it aswell also when training it to jump its different when its at full speed and not looking at the fence basicaly in the end i think its normal for a young dog on its own to stop on a fence while chasing so the more u do it the faster it will learn bu
  14. i dont know if this will get any replys because i dont know how true this story is or if its a load of crapp but i heard off someone in fact a few poeple iv met have mentione similar stories of keeping foxes as pets but what id heard of is someone hunting foxes with his dogs and a fox and the fox was ment to be awsome at it i wouldnt have said anything but my dad was i a gunsmiths house last week and saw a old photo of a gsp and a fox pointing a bird together before the man shot it just interested if anyone had any similar stories

  19. if its on its own over a year but if its with a few tough dogs from 6 months even younger seems fine to me this is just my opinion but the first few time hope the dog dosent get biten hard (run with a few dogs) till its fully physicaly developed but the more a dog gets bitten the smarter it gets it learns to go hard and kill fast also where to get a hold of the fox another advantage of running witha few dogs it'll watch and learn it'll ethier be good and have it in it or it want ethier way you'll no early but dont expect much from a young dog as long as theres a slow staedy improvment and if i
