  3. whats the date of the hamilton show i just went to the carisbrook
  4. except i dont belive a wippet will have anywhere near the stamina and its alot easier to find a terrier wippet that will kill then a pure wippet
  5. ya i ment skin i dont read over what i type and i didnt look like a big puntrue but i couldnt tell how deep it went also even though he was a cross he looked stright greyhound

  7. although its never happened to me thankfully poeple i know dont chip or tat there dog incase u might have to leave it doing what ever it might be doing ( deer roos badgers whatever pouching) for your own sake although u try and aviod it and although id regret it id hate to go down because somone could identifie my dog anyway its up to u and what u hunt good luck with it anyway mate
  8. just wanted to get poeple to think about the skin of a dog befor breeding it i went out on the weekend with the hounds spotlighting and put a grey x stag on a rabbit it ran striaght into a tree with a stick coming out the side it ripped 1 third of its skin off and put a small puncture in its front right hand side shoulder had to get it put down at the vets if he had a better shin he probly would have been alright also he wasnt a good turner so found it hard to dodge the tree so next time u breed a litter keep the skin in mind
  9. how can u say dogs shouldnt be chained up when uv admitted your dogs run around freely u oviusly live on a farm which is fine so they have plenty of room to muck around without getting into to much trouble but it would be the last straw for me if my dogs ran of to root, also if i saw some dogs sniffing my bitch if she was on heat like most farmers theyd put a bulliet in its head so id reckomed putting your dogs on the chian all day as smart as lurchers are there not kelpies and seem to want to find some fun where ever it is what if on a hot day a few roos ran past while your at work and the do
  10. i know greyhound terriers there awsome hard fast smart and go all day with a awsome nose and hunting drive
  11. how long does it take for the jill to drop her kits and when can i start working them thanks
  12. well i reckon u blokes should stay over there in england we enjoy having plenty of game to hunt and from the look of some of your dogs if u blokes started coming over we might have a bit of trouble finding the fun
  13. my dogs stay on the chain for all but 2 hrs of the day where they get to run around the back yard i only trian my dogs how they hunt i wont let my dogs run 7 miles because thats not how they hunt there trianing should be specific to the hunt so i dont mind walking them a hundred meters throwing a ball they get it and retrieve it then repeat with the same amount of times u would run them for a hunt theres no piont in trianing them a different way of how u hunt them but by the time i do that i usally just go for a hunt anyway my dogs are always calm relaxed and never make a noise (exept for my G
