When I was younger we use to replace the old landcruisers motor for a Chevy V8 then switch out the steering box for a Chevy steering box. Gas milage still suck at 14 mpg. Then we added a lift kit for bigger tires. I will say the Landcruiser was by far the best climbing 4x4 at that time. -
