One of those questions that's been doing the rounds since forums began. olofthegr8, you say in one of your posts that you help do a bit of keeping, why not ask the head keeper what he thinks of shooting stuff in the garden? Rob.......forever sceptical.

Forgive me if I'm wrong chaps but I've developed a bit of a nose for wrong un's, and I recon essexlad06 is a wrong un. I'm sure he's been on here before under different guises, asking the same dumb questions, trying to draw us out into making a stupid reply so he can post it on ALF or LACS. Best ignored I think.

I'm not sure what the laws are with you mate but I think your boys in blue have their heads right up where the sun don't shine. In England any silencers used must be granted on your ticket. As for a rifle being illegal if it's threaded for a silencer must surely be cods whollop. I shall be watching this topic with interest. Best of luck to all concerned.

I've been shooting airguns for over 47 years now and I'm still not bored with them, I also shoot powder burning rifles and shotguns too!. If, and it's a BIG if, when you move on to a rimfire, do you think you will be bored with that after a couple of weeks?? what will you be after then, a Chieften Tank maybe. I may be wrong but I've a strong feeling you were asking the same sort of questions about shotguns just a short time ago. -

John, I think the yellow can is Jungle Formula. I use Mossi-Guard, I spray it on my feet (before I put my socks on) I spray it on my face, hands, arms, down my back and front, infact I spray it every bloody where and still get bit. I've tried everything and still get bit. I take vitamin B tablets, I eat yeast extract, I shower daily (sometimes twice) and still get bit. I hate the little ards. Rob

That's a cracker. I'm not much in favour of mobile phones but those 'ear pieces' knobs wear really p i s s me off, I was walking towards my bank in my local town when I met a fat bloke who was staring at me and said 'I can't see the problem with that' I said 'problem?, what problem mate' he said 'what you on about, I'm on the phone' I said 'then why the bloody hell are you looking at me while you're talking' Damn stupid things

Hit man...the money is good and the hours are short, other than that "shooting" for a living is hard work, daft hours and poor pay....but I love it!!! What is a fac rifle and what can it do?

Rimfire ammo is available from around 30ft lb to around 325ft lb with 4 different main calibres/types these days! How do you know you are getting 12ft lb with your BSA Comet? There are a couple of people who would have been very helpful to you, went by the names of Wingshooter and Guevara but I haven't seen them for a while! Now oddly enough I was thinking along those lines myself. -
Worse than w*nk, I was given one to mess about with, I'd only let go six or so shots and the right band broke at the handle end and thwacked my left nipple, I was in b l o o d y agony.
