    Great weather, great location, pity there was such a poor turn out. Terrier section was proper wank! Dog shows have changed a helluva lot over the 30 or so years I 've been working dogs, not for the better IMHO. Too many show type people and not enough working dogs there, hence dilution of the working breeds as people want a looker or a flying machine and aren't too bothered about working ability. I did meet some good, genuine people there but not generally "my sort" of dog people. No offence to the people there but until the shows are run by genuine working dog people again, I'm afr

    Very few people HAVE to go digging if they don't want to. The reason we dig is because of the sport, thats why we started foxing in the first place. Some foxes have to be killed but many others don't, dependant on circumstances. Lambing and bird areas/times, out with the hunt (mostly), they die. Dog gets a pasting or a real b*****d of a dig, ditto. Moorland, arable, heathland, etc. no reason to kill them all, good sport and foxy is there for another day. JMHO. Cheers, D.

    Anybody see it? Had the chopper over them, so they walked away and left a fecked (but alive) deer in the field and just walked over to the police car. Several lads with lurchers and terrier. Showed the fecked deer about to be shot by a farmer. Did the lurcher world heaps of good :wallbash: Copper made a big thing of it, saying they had had reports of lads with dogs about but they wouldn't scramble a chopper if you were being attacked by a gang of blokes with dogs!
