  9. Watched the old guard with Charlize Theron the other night an amusing romp of a immortal movie. The cgi effects when they regenerate are excellent if s bit sickening, great ending. Ok it's a mishmash of several films but kills 2 hours happily.
  10. Well went squirrel hunting in the crappie weather and ended up watching a calf birth instead. Set off in icy winds walking the hedgerow as the snow began to fall much commotion as a cow gave birth. But no maternity ward here ,mum promptly cleared off leaving her shivering wet calf in the lurch. Quick call to warn the farmer and I kept watch awaiting mums return and the farmers arrival.   21. Was getting on fine till lockdown. Shot a fox with it and loadsa rabbits then not allowed to travel for shooting here. Been told March 29th shooting can resume so can't wait . Have you updated firmware yet ,couldn't do mine . But a quick email to Yukon did some computer magic their end and done dusted. They even emailed twice to make sure it had worked and I was happy with it ? Got 50 metres .22 and 100m .243 saved and even when the batteries die it still saves them . The viewing range is awesome atb
  22. Hello n welcome both, Friend bought the Gamo phox .177 for his son (honest guvnor). And has raved about it ,no squirrel lasts past first sight in his garden .He,s a ex marine and loves it to bits having tried the Bsa but the Gamo just felt right . Sticks and bipod can be made for pennies ,2x green garden canes joined with a martingale ring or nut n bolt . 10 mm canes and a thick o ring make a bipod to last and tucks into your belt. Plenty of targets free to download on line and if not potatoes are rabbit head size as are apples. Enjoy whatever you settle on atb
  23. Had the 5x42 maxed out with a camera lens and then bought a pard 007 . Sorry I'd save my money up and get a pard or Wraith . Having already sold a kidney I have the Thermion as well as advised by Dave . The pard gone go from rifle to rifle with no dramas atb
