  1. Then dry stone walls are something else
  2. wouldnt bet on that pal, they could have park blood, but that dont make em park fells, park blood is very thin even in his own kennels. Yeah sorry I mean stuff with parks stuff in them, although a number of them look like parks stuff I know what you mean though there not directly from him and they have other breeding in them
  3. There's deffantly still a few knocking about I know of a group of lads from the Wales borders working parks stuff, that bitch wasn't the best I had but she was good at her job
  4. I'd this some sort of anti question? I hunt because I enjoy being in the countryside, I love seeing dogs work and it gives me a break from the Mrs and kids, I have respect for everything I kill
  5. mated her a well known black dog called bear? Hell of a dog problem was went to work one day when got back she had eaten all the pups
  6. Yeah I like how mine smash into hedges it just makes me gulp sometimes haha same with the fences mine will jump anything and tbh I'd lose a lot of stuff if they didn't jump or crash into hedges, a mate of mine lost a bull collie greyhound a couple years back that dog cleared any fence, one day he commanded it to jump a double fence that the dog jumped every day for nearly 5 years this one day his back leg dropped in between the brow fences and snapped ligaments had to be put down
  7. That bitch I put up wasn't directly from park either i fetched her off a good pal of mine from Ludlow
  8. Anyone got any photos of the rough coated types out of parks stuff?
  9. A gooden that is, if I was you I'd be taking the brush and mask to a taxidermist and I'd have that on my lounge wall
  10. It's the same sort of thing as crashing into hedges do you like your dog crashing into hedges? Both of my dogs will smash through a hedge at full speed sometimes it makes me cringe I see a young beddy whippet dog smash into a hedge after a rabbit one night only to get speared by an old iron steak in the hedge the dog had to be put down I guess it's one of those things though where ever you lamp there are hazards and it's luck of the draw on the night
  11. Never had s terrier out of goulds stuff, know a couple of lads from Birmingham waybthat use to do abit with us one of them had a bull Russell type dog off ken a good few years back hell of a dog
  12. A lad I know fetched a two year old. I'll whippet last year the lad had only ever done rabbit with it, it go into anything and I mean anything, not an ideal ferreting companion imo you'd be better off with a beddy whippet, something you can take ferreting with you and can lamping too get the right breeding and you can have some good fun with a beddy whippet
  13. Haha you know mate, to be honest should bay and bay but if something was being stubborn she would get right in its face, she was quite a bully for saying she was only a small bitch, as soon as she Hurd that shovel getting close then bang all hell broke loose
  14. Iv only had that one bitch out of his stuff and dig to one other, iv seen a couple more too and all of them were smooth coated some light reds and some darker reds like that bitch
  15. Depends what sort of dog my heavy set lurcher will jump anything but i try to avoid him jumping if it's barbed wire, a dog of his weight coming down on a barbed fence would end bad
  16. do you mean the green ones? They look smart as
  17. Yeah that bitch was supreme in bails she could get into the tightest of spots and you knew if she was in there for longer than a few seconds there was one in there somewhere, same with rabbit warrens she was small enough to wiz round them she wouldn't bother with the rabbits either
  18. That's it mate I got desperate once and paid 400 for a half bull quarter grey quarter wheaten, hell of a dog he was so didn't mind paying it, 5 months later one of my pals from Shropshire asked to borrow him for a season I said yeah no problem he's still there now, can't stand lads in this game for the money
  19. Anyone using anything bred this way? I had a bitch a few year back cracking little bitch she was, great in bails too, always stayed till dig but would bolt if she could, at one point she was the most used at the atherstone, only ever seen one other dog bred this way work and he was a cracker too.
  20. Tell me about it it's criminal iv only bred 1 litter of lurchers before both parents were 100% had four pups and all four turned out good £90 I charged each other than one that went to a close freind I didn't charge at all, made not a single penny on that litter but if your breeding for own use why charge a silly amount and if your not breeding for own use why breed at all
  21. That's my worry spoke to a man last night I know who said he mate know a man that can sort me out got plenty of bitches and doesn't like them in his kennels when there in season apparantly it sends the dogs abit mad maybe he can loan me one
  22. Dear oh dear a towny trying to help gamekeepers yet just like the sabs clearly knows nothing about the countryside, country pursuits and how anything works in the countryside, I have permission to go and plenty at that but for ten years I didn't do you think I was going to give up what I loved doing (being out with my dogs) because no farmer landowner or gamekeeper would give me permission? Ofcourse not even right from a young age I would politely ask if I could have permission to run a couple of rabbits with my dogs, they always said no and I always ignored them you have to look after number
  23. Yes mate the bitch will be tested that's why I'm looking for one now as it gives me enough time to find the right bitch, I won't be doing a mating until Feb time
  24. Wouldn't fancy one myself knowing my look I'd end up with a pup that's got the ignorance of the saluki and the nose of the lab which = I f****r to get back after every slip
