  1. What if someone doesn't want to catch rabbits, are they any good then? PRE BAN , oh yeah, and I'll just shoot rats anyway I think he use to do a it with them proberly 20 years ago but like I said there's much better stuff out there all round for any game you wish to pursue
  2. I live in the same town as plattsy himself and although he might have some big strong deerhounds I know he doesn't do much with them nowadays other than breeding and studding, abut like hancock :/ depends what your after and what terrain you'll run a dog on a guess! Rabbits you can get better Bigger faster rabbits you can get better Ginger rabbits you can get better Rabbits with antlers you can get better Just my opinion All the best with your searching
  3. Thank you! New to this malarkey so hopefully I'll get the hang of it soon enough!!
  4. You have to gain the dogs trust, too many people get there dog out of the kennel put it on the lead put it in the truck get to there destination wall with the dog slip it at the quarry get it back in the lead again straight away, that's all good but if the dog thinks as soon as it comes back to it's going to be on the lead for another 40 minutes it won't want to return it will want to make the most of being off the lead, it could be a number of reasons for example are you going out with a handful of dogs? Therefor your dog is only getting slipped once in a while, is there not much quarry aroun
