    Used to have them regularly in my garden then nothing for years, this is the first year I,ve seen them I have 3 different ones visiting, the hot dry weather seems to bring them out more I think they struggle to find worms and snails etc, as soon as it rains they come for the food a lot less, in truth I probably wouldn’t no they were about if my garden wasn’t camera,d up,

    Clarissa the British record carp for many years taken from a heavily weeded redmire on a 1 1/2lb tc rod, the first 50lb uk carp caught on a 11/5 lb tc rod, Mary from wraysbury uk s first 60lb carp caught by Phil Thompson on an 11ft 2lb tc rod, these big 2-3 and 4lb test curve beach casting rods came into fashion so idiots could fish at rediculous ranges over weed and bully fish to the bank and are the reason half the big fish in the country are swimming round with half a face because it’s catch at all costs over water craft and skill

    Because he never done it, everyone involved from the residents of the resort to the police and parents of the missing kid will clutch at anything to get this put to bed so it removes the spotlight from them, it’s just a bit of prison bullshit being blown out of all proportion

    I feed them cat biscuits, but put a water bowl out to, have fed them wet meat in the past but gets a bit expensive when they start bringing the family, I did rear one in my house some years back when my patterdale bit a chunk out of it, I treated the wound with honey which worked a treat but it was under 300 grams in weight so couldn’t hibernate, it lived in my house over winter and I let it go in spring ??

    I don’t know if it’s any help but I use a bass rod to fly fish for pike and carp don’t know what the test curve or much else about it but it handles both of those species fine, so I guess a heavy spinning rod would be a reasonable blank for a carp rod I also have an old fibreglass spinning rod that I,ve had carp to 20lb + on and it’s nicer than many modern carp rods ?

    Not catty related in anyway whatsoever, but I have noticed with the hogs that during the hot dry weather they are very reliant on the food and water I put out but after rain they can take it or leave as the worms, slugs and snails come out in the damp may explain why you saw one out and about during daylight ??

    From my understanding there were 2 different dogs run through the apartment and car, a cadaver dog and a blood dog and both gave strong marks in the same areas ????
