  1. Agree with that mate and though he failed to keep me out of jail he gave me something to read while I was there ?
  2. As with a lot of things, it’s the fact he actually fooled us all for a while that makes people mad, no one likes to be fooled and no one likes to admit they were fooled, so it turns to anger ?
  3. Plummer was a puppy farmer that did good self advertising, I went to that chicken farm years ago, it was rows of ex racing greyhounds and a handful of farmyard type collies just churning out pups, my mate wanted a pup so 3 of us in a £50 Mk1 escort van took a 240 mile round trip, the dog was related to one of the dogs in his book allegedly and cost a premium, it was rubbish next to my £2.50 dogs home special ?
  4. I went to Cromer in Norfolk once, it was shut ?
  5. Paid £8 for mine still going strong ?
  6. After seeing the back of your truck for an hours shooting I’d have to disagree there mate, unless you put the gun away for the photos ?
  7. Don’t know if you ever have a look on the American slingshot forum, but a few people on there are modifying the scouts by sanding the fork tips flat they recon it improves accuracy, not that you need any help ?
  8. A handful of drain rods are quite good for poking them out and don’t take up much space on the van ?
  9. FairPlay you certainly got an infestation down there, I saw my second squirrel this morning since moving here in January, lots of shooting goes on local, there is a nice little plantation of trees a few miles away I’ve spotted on google earth I will have a little peep at it next week, keep the pics coming they ???
  10. Sadly I was also in Oxfordshire near David Cameron,s abode can’t remember the name of the village or air base but saw quite a lot of body bags coming back quite regularly as well, ?
  11. Funny I was fishing on the Cotswolds around that time, I guess they were going into fairford or lynham but night after night saw waves of those stealth bombers going out and back, not very stealthy when taking off the place was shaking and the flame out the back was pretty spectacular ?
  12. May sound a bit obvious but have you checked on you tube a lot of old classics on there ?
  13. Not 100% sure but I think her family own the Nuremberg ring, hence she can go round it faster in a transit van than most blokes could in a fast car, that’s sad news likeable bird and seemed game for the craic
  14. Woke up around midnight last night by the whomp whomp noise, think it was going down the Severn estuary ??
  15. Now I have the boat I,m hoping to get some floodplain land along the river Severn, it’s cheap and no one will be building houses there for many years, am quite happy to move every seven years when the river washes away everything around me ??
  16. I actually thought that was one house until I saw the front doors,
  17. When your arse is like a wizards sleeve your bound to take on water ️
  18. A true modern Brit I,m alright jack sitting in my cupboard more concerned with how many likes you can get than the fact your children will be a minority by the time they are your age, sad pathetic little man with not an ounce of fight left in you and a true example of why we are all fecked ????
  19. I agree with all you say mate I don’t really care about the vaccine one way or another, I don’t take my flu jab I don’t want this one, my anger is more aimed at the control side of it how easily people are manipulated told it’s a good ideal and in there best interests and just go along with things much the same as the mass immigration green belt land being covered in houses and all the other shit laws people are willing to roll over and take, the virus has been used as a massive smoke screen to take even more rights away from people and see how far and easily they can push people into complian
  20. Love the mini predators like stoats and weasels, have a lot of wild polecats about as well, but I think they may have been quietly introduced like the otters were, I once watched a stoat track a rabbit across a meadow and disappear into a bramble patch but within a minute the stoat came flying out with the rabbit in hot pursuit, I assumed it must have had young as I couldn’t think of anything else that would make a rabbit turn tough ?
  21. Surprising what you learn about the countryside while chasing ghosts, ?
  22. What type of device are you using mate, I do it on my iPad and it’s a p of p but I would probably need a lesson or two on a laptop type thingy
  23. What I really need is some footprints as mustilids have 5 toes in comparison to most other things, trouble is Everyman and his dog is out at the moment ruining anything left behind, the latest swan was found near a lake that was a former sand pit so hopefully when I get back I may be able to find something if I get in the bush,s and have a good crawl around ??
  24. And that’s how I look at each individual case, many of them fall at the first hurdle but some just have no other explanation ?other than a large non indigenous predator ?
  25. Cheers mate alls good have you got any further with your move yet, I used to have a lake near bridge water and when an otter arrived as well as taking my prized carp he also ate all the geese so otter is a strong candidate at the moment, it’s just the land based attacks I,m struggling to fathom out, sadly I’m on baby sitting duty’s at the moment as I,m sure if something is hunting the margins of the lake in question it will have to leave some footprints along the margins somewhere, ??
