Weather is crazy, I was scraping the frost of my windscreen wednesday and today the sun was beating down on me only for the rain the dogs woud have been fukked.

A fukkin sickener pal, I lost a good dog to a collapse at start of the season, Im still gutted. Ive lost a few to ground over the years but never had a collar choke a dog, had a few caught on roots. I hope its the only loss to ground you have. atb

Out again this morning, after trying a few handy ones last sunday and monday and nothing I bumped into a neighbour farmer and he mentioned a farm up the mountain had gone down with TB he said go up and try for a fox up there, so up there this morning with the two young bitches, I dug three from there in January, so I collared up the black bitch and in she went she flew around the place in and out she knew something was here but it was a rangey burrow and she wasnt travelling deep into it, so back on the lead and in went the russel bitch after a good search the bumping began. Was out myself with a couple of young dogs tried a few handy ones but was too warm by 12 so finished up, back out in the morning for round 2.

Out again today, after a good dig to a young bitch last weekend I thought I would try another young bitch today, only been out once before and she went first time, a bit too excited. Entered and and travelled well so happy enough, heavy rain last night stopped me crossing river to check others, soaked with sweat after taking long way round due to river, still a bit warm roll on winter.
