    i brought a hw 95 the other day and what with the long nights and some of the lads wanting to lighten stocks... it got me thinking, i don't really go a load on light stocks... the only reason i bought the tx was because it was so dark! so I've decided to stain the stock... i don't want a full on tactical look i want it too still look like wood but i want it dark!! so i stripped the varnish off... what a fcuking nightmare, when its dry tomorrow ill be finishing the rubbing down and stain it once the stock is sorted it'll be time for the internals... my mate next doors an old sch

    it was a 50/50 split on the weight and fiddly loading davy!! waving a trowel around all day takes its toll on your hands as you'll know, i struggled at the best of times with it but when it was cold i spent most of me time turning it upside down to get the dropped pellet out im gonna be hitting the woods with her on Wednesday night,, crows better watch out

    is another mans gain!! well after a good weekend and a couple of rifles sold there are a few happy lads in the north east! little hunter and me being a couple of them and a bloke in stockton the tx wasn't even for sale till i saw the lads face but i knew then it was time to let her go cos i never had that look when i used it, there without doubt one of the best springers about but i never clicked with it!! so today on the way home i called in the shop and bought what I've been chewing over for the last month or so!! enter me hw95 in 177 its been over 3 years since I've had a break

    Nice one si have you had a few shots of it mate and what do you think of it atvbjimmy :thumbs: yeah put a few through her and I'm well happy rob at the pickering shop gave me a tuned one to shoot but on bringing mine home and having a blast i can't say theres a great deal of difference! back to basics atb si

    you get good and bad scopes even though there the same model ft!! I've had sh!te ones that won't hold zero.. have a butchers on freeads or post a wanted! you'll find one easy enough and there cheap as chips atb si

    not a bad bunch at all geordie style aint far off scarborough style just can't believe how close jimmy gets to them i need to be at least 20yards away or ill miss...i was using the accupels sat night,, starting to like them a lot i can see why you go crow bashing with them 40yrd shots bang on the money and instant lights out!! atb si

    i had a piston seal like that a while ago tom it had swollen up due to age so i shaved it with a dremil, not ideal but did the trick! it was that tight it had bent the pin that holds it on too, so i battered it straight ish but so it wouldn't fall out ! not perfect but did the trick!! whats the brown sauce for?! is it the next moly slip atb si

    i don't use AO or mildots on me tx it makes me put a bit more effort in and feels more rewarding.... but I've bunged a mildot on for this weekend so little hunter can see if he likes tx's
