  1. im at a meeting in march with most of the wildfowling clubs on the wash there will also be NATRUAL ENGLAND , RSPB , BASC, and many more ,i know there is alot of up rore with the local keepers too should be interesting . i can see it happing the RSPB have chucked 20 millon pound into the wash over the last few years also they are still looking for land around the wash to buy even if its 10 miles inland . there is a project they are on with now just up the road from were i live they have bought a 600 acre farm behind the sea wall and have really gone to town on it , i think that its

  4. the sire to these pups is a 100% working wildfowling dog and a absalute cracker of a dog ,he is out 5 days a week fowling on the wash with his owner does his job well . they should make good workers in the right hands .and bought on properly .

  7. it was not a knife kiwi it was the head i tried to stop dumb i know . yes, we have an hide puller but does not skin the heads you have to do it by hand were not a real big abbatoir we only kill 300 cattle a week, 5 to 600 sheep, 4 to 500 pigs , and thats 5 of us mainly .

  9. im a slaughterman and was skining a bulls head , i had just sharpened my knife and was cutting round where we put the hook through to hang it up and cut through it..... as it fell i tried to stop it by putting my hand in its mouth and it ran its teeth through the crease of my fingers and cut down to the bone on my last 3 fingers and 1 of my tendons in my little finger.
  10. i went to work this morning and had a feeling something was going to happen and it did and i ended up like this, i spent 5 hours at the hospital and have to go back to the hospital in the morning ...for some more sitting and waiting , im gutted

  13. pochard,(Aythya ferina) Are mainly found on open water such as gravel pits,reservoirs lakes and estuaries. they are normally in big rafts like wigeon, tufted, but you do get them on flight ponds and some rivers also it is not uncommon to shoot them on small flight ponds were being fed . well done, was it a drake bird you shot ?

    The US of A. BUt if not there then the prologics are fine, as are the snowbee granites for mud shooting.
