  7. Does anybody work their dogs on golf courses, on the lamp not sure if a good idea or not. I have had a few along the rough edges alright just walking at dusk,but the ones that run on the flat really are missiles and were more than a match for my dog. I know the ground can be hard certainly during the summer but during winter my local one gets quite boggy across the fairways. Anyone experienced in running dogs on this type of ground? Cheers
  8. Well DC it was all I could come up with as to what he had and those green keepers I was once told they use a type of fertiliser that kills the worms, in order to stop the moles from destroying the putting green. If true must be some strong shit.
  9. Thanks for that info I just looking I think there are a lot of different strengths of it so would imagine a real low percentage one for ingesting. Think the one I have would dissolve my my railings if I used it to brush me teeth

  11. Means well, thought I'd share this I was out with dog and family walking a golf course during lockdown. Kids were throwing ball for dog and he was hot, well looking in one of many small lakes for fish the dog goes in for a cool off in the rushes takes a drink no big deal got him, home and quickly realised he had taken on poison of sorts that I believe was fertiliser that had washed off the green, he cleared it just before vet trip he was eating his fur vet bed , grass and plants in order to sick it up. So one to watch out for, a question for the experienced owner is there any thing

  14. I think that quite a few owners just own land sharks stick gps on them take them to likley spots and then a good dog or bad dog opinion is formed. I have met with a few such owners, obviously not the type that can type. Unlike all the good responsible owners here on THL
  15. Our village has a prison and years ago inmate escaped using the laundry service and some how smuggled him self out. Unfortunately for him when the truck came to a stop and he ventured outside, only to find he was in another nick True story Terrorists though I would have thought should have been in belmarsh

    People that say " it was quite expensive " implying you cant afford whatever they have. Toppers people that always top you as in they had bigger , more, done it first,before , what ever you have done in life they top it there a few about.
  19. My son is marking f class at the moment I think it goes from 300 to 900 maybe up to 1200 I will ask when he's home and yeah they v bull at those distances
  20. Thank you Phil experienced wise words I will take on board. I took my lad at around 14 weeks as the season started and every week after he got used to ferrets nets and was soon doing as the older dogs did which included disappearing and hunting up while we picked up.That I think was a mistake and should of had him back on lead until next bury netted. As in later life this became a pain and well I had no control and around 18months age he was catching what I didn't want and got me in a spot of bother with landowners and Joe public he always came back and a quick check of dog told the
