Key in your gun serial number BN and you will get the year of manufacture. A very handy little thing is this. WDB - DYWP WWW.WEIHRAUCH-DATABASE.EU A user built database with Weihrauch products Phil

Sorted thanks guys.

HW80, HW 97, HW77 & TX200 none are mine but will be selling for a friend although someone has an eye on the TX and 97. The 77 is staying with me as a project gun and despite it needing a facelift, it is sooooooo accurate.
-
These are the ones I have. As you can see they will need a bit of cleaning up.................just like your rifle. No charge BN as long as you are not in a rush as I have to sell on some rifles and these and a couple of old scopes can find a new home once the guns have gone.

I have some hw sights which may fit, I will have a look later today, just on my way out clay shooting. Phil

These are the photos of the HW80 .

I have an old hw77 as a project to renovate which is not my thing but anyway, I am having a go (Jimmy keep your phone line clear ). There is a part which fits in both the 77 and 97 at the front of the trigger guard to connect the stock to the action and then a screw goes through the trigger guard into this fitting...................... hope this all makes sense, soooooo this is the part I am after so before I have to splash out nearly £50 for this and the secondary screw, I thought I would just ask if anyone has one in their drawer to sell me a bit less than new. I have an HW80 which belongs to a pal of mine which he wants to sell and that is in lovely condition. I am having trouble loading photos on at the moment but my daughter is coming over tonight to sort things out and I can then post photos. It has a pre focused scope made by Kassnar 6 - 18 x 44 (no I had never heard of them either), Sportsmatch mounts, adjustable heel plate / rubber pad and sling studs and has a small sound mod which does soften the sound a little but also has the screw on end piece if the mod is not wanted. Very nice gun to be honest. Phil

Increase of prices of pellets over the years
philpot replied to mitre's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Perhaps this is bad timing as I have given away a few thousand pellets for melting down to make fishing leads however I wonder if it is worthwhile setting up a post for pellet / slug swaps so samples could be sent out if someone has a few spares which our old Member, Mitch, has done for me and I have sent pellets to others. Who thinks it is worth doing. Phil -
Yes I agree, lovely clear glass. In amongst all this stuff I got is a Tasco 3-9x44 preset focal range but the glass is superb with a crystal clear image from 3mt out to 130mt that I could see. Honestly I would have thought it would be a load of crap AND IT'S SILVER so it should be rubbish but it is nothing short of brilliant so it may well find it's way onto a gun sooner or later. It just goes to show you should never judge a book by the cover....................until next time. Oh yes the Tasco has a pair of fully adjustable mounts as well, what a bonus.

Forget this guys just trying something but can't delete the photo although while it is on here, this is a Simmonds 1.5 - 5 x 20wa Prodiamond Shotgun Scope, lovely clear glass that I have just picked up but what to do with it ????? Phil

Well my pal brought the gun for me to fit a pistol scope but instead he brought a Hawke Airmax Compact !!!!!! After some faffing around with weaver rail to go on the gun's dovetail rail. To get the right height to get the mag in and to be able to cock the side lever operation, it was a bit tight to say the least but after a while I got there. At 12yds it was pellet on pellet although to me somewhat overkill but with the slide out extended stock, it worked and my pal is happy now even though the outfit sits at just under £600.......................

I had a good fishing pal round to see me yesterday and whilst chatting about all things country, he came out with the fact that he has a number a Weihrauch air rifles including an HW100, HW77, HW95 and an HW97 plus an Air Arms TX200 all of which have not been tiuched for 10 years or more so he said I might as well flog them to pay for some more beach fishing rods. I know the TX200 is a lefty but not sure about the others and a strong possibility there are more than the ones I have listed. I may have one myself depending what the prices are going to be but as I don't have any in my hands as ye

I just bought a new shotgun yesterday so the Snowpeak pcp pistol with shoulder extension at £220 glaring at me from the glass cabinet was not a possibility for me but I so wanted it. My buddy bought one last year and I fitted a laser (can't remember if the red or the green was the better) but I set this up at 10mt on a windless day which is not common in Lincolnshire and this gun is a tack driver. My pal uses it at work to shoot rabbits and pigeon out of his office window, last week he took 3 magpies and a crow which were in his 10mt boundary fence. He has now asked me to fit a small scope and

I have to agree with you, my buddy and I have had our perms for years and now all new perms are by referral so no more door knocking and we have given away several. If I were to start again, I would be looking at real pest issues such a feral pigeons crapping on farm equipment or on church roof tops, look at small garden allotments as they get hammered by rats, pigeon, crows and rabbits. Crows can be a big problem as they will pull out fresh crop as they push through the ground in their search for slugs/grubs, to say nothing about the noise they make at the crack of dawn on the rookery at the

Well I decided I could not let this gun go so I bought it today, now a happy bunny. Phil

Increase of prices of pellets over the years
philpot replied to mitre's topic in General Airgun Discussion
SMK are the cheapest because they are shite along with Gamo not far behind and what the hell are 'Bulls Eye' pellets, some other crap no doubt. As for pellets lodged in the barrel, never normally an issue unless someone has loaded more than one pellet. .25 pellets are bigger than a .22 barrel............................well well well who would have thought that. Not really sure what you are saying to be honest. phil -
FWB 124 or Weihrauch 77? Replacing a stolen rifle
philpot replied to Bornagainyorkshire's topic in General Airgun Discussion
I had one and I was bloody useless with it until one of our members on here tuned it for me, my god it was a tack driver when he had finished so much so that even I was able to put pellet on pellet and I am just not a springer man....................as one or two on here will tell you . Phil -
I borrowed a Beretta 682 Gold, black action, 30'' sporter to try out. I took it to Cockets Farm ground yesterday to put it through its paces, I had forgotton just how good these guns are, this one has had little use still having a tight action closure/opening and my god did it feel good. I shot it on both english sporting stands and fitasc targets with very pleasing results. I used my usual cartridges, Eley Superbs 7.5 and 1/4 chokes, really good kills even though I would prefer 3/8 chokes but they were not in the bundle although if I buy it, I will be looking to get some 3/8 chokes if possibl

I have had the Impact in Pickering Guns for new seals all round, new reg, servicing and resetting the power level. On Saturday we had the drive over to Pickering to collect the gun, now running at 55fpe with JSB King Heavy Mk11 33.94gr. I fitted the Airmax Compact SF back on and today popped over to the rfd to set an initial zero at 25mt as a start point ready for when these bloody winds bugger off so I can work it out to 100mt without a 50mph running sideways across the area I use for gun / pellet testing. Another brilliant reason for going to Pickering is to call in Pickering Farm Shop wh

FWB 124 or Weihrauch 77? Replacing a stolen rifle
philpot replied to Bornagainyorkshire's topic in General Airgun Discussion
I have no idea about springers but we do have a guy, Mark Williams, who has two FWB which he uses for hunting and swears by them so a good person to talk to. He has been ill so I will give him a message and get him on the case for you. Phil
