    I went out last week during a reduction in the winds but I have an issue with the Impact in that I missed every shot and I am not that bad a shot. Just running some chrono strings to see if I have a reg problem. I think another run up to Pickering guns.

    We had gale force winds with rain today, I have never seen anything quite like this, should be back to normal on Wednesday or at least I hope so as I am doing some work at my syndicate fishing lake ON THE BOAT..............that could be fun.

    I am going Thursday and will use the club bows but if I get hooked, I will need to learn some more about them as they are quite technical pieces of kit and the fact that some of them are adjustable on the cams to change the poundage. Clever stuff.

    I used to hand my paperwork in at my local police station for transferring to the firearms licencing deptartment but it became a bit of a gamble as and when the paperwork would get through if at all....... Phil

    Well having been a few times to watch my daughter, I have booked in myself this Thursday but I have decided to go with the compound bow which is a different sort of animal altogether. I did have a feel and drawer on one that was for sale, bloody amazing thing, when you draw back the string to max, the cams lock out and there is no effort at all holding the string while getting your aim.     Is that really you Ethan, can't be, you are way to tall for that little fella I remember. So grandad forgot the magazines....................it's an age thing Ethan but at least he remembered to put his trousers on. I agree with you regarding the Wildcat, superb little gun, I wished I still had mine but it had to go in order that I could get the Impact. It's good to see you back shooting and on here matey. Phil

    About an hour after posting this thread, I popped down to the sea wall 1.5 mile away and the wind made it very difficult to stand still without the gusts pushing me around. Today no wind, Great, I can spend some time with the rifle............................then it started to really throw it down with rain. Can't bloody win !!! Phil
