The way I look at it is if you don't have a bad night ever now and then you'll always expect your dog to have a good night it just makes the good night better when you have them if that makes sense .

i know where there a first cross colliehound his a big strong dog and i mean big and strong he wouldn't be in this man's kennels if he's did do his job i was think of using him or a full collie but it the thought of having a full litter to find good working home that has me stalling and I'm not sure if my bitch would really be able for litter because she'll be nearly 9 by the time id have time to rear a litter to the best i can I'm sure the man wouldn't mind u see him work or use him if u where interested might be something to think about atb bob

thats a bitch skully?ive a kelpie x here and 6 yrs old now,would like to take a pup from her maybe next year,no idea what id use for stud but most likely collie infusion of some form. this is a long shot because u don't me but would u keep me in mind if u do consider taking a litter out your bitch I've been looking for a collie based lurchers for a while I'm in know rush so don't mind waiting if I dont ask I'll never know atb bob

Wasn't worth a carrot mate,i culled her,id NEVER put ANY of my dogs to stud to cover a Greyhound again,they offer nothing in my eyes when it comes to a lurcher.. Edited to add my big Saluki x is out of a 3/4 Grey x 1/4 Saluki dam and he has no gas in the tank either well not compared to these old cur types ive kept,infact id say my cur types had atleast 3-4 times more wind with ease ? could it not have been just a bad greyhound he was put to how did the rest of that litter work out.

If u have anymore pictures like the first one could u put them up I like seen old pictures that looks some load of rabbits did you sell them or keep them of the freezer dog also look like they could do job . If you don't mind me asking why change from the collie based lurcher

I've been looking and trying to find collie based lurcher pups or even a 3/4collie havin come to a dead end in going to take a litter out of me 3/4 whippet hound to a full collie the works cattle and sheep and racey and work all day so well see what happens
