  7. it only stops the bleeding, heals nowt only time does that, if it opens up again its not had time to heal, ear and tail injuries are a nightmare with blood getting everywhere, in general this sorts it instantly. yeah I kinda know time heals Paul ? I meant it can give the impression it's healing and to someone that doesn't know might think it's healed .. But it hasn't really hence my little warning lol . But your right for cuts on ears it's good to stop bleeding .

  13. My father told me of certain travelling family's that had Salukis before he'd ever known anyone else to have them . One family from the South Downs and Salisbury plain . I won't mention any family names but apparently the first two he seen came from Southampton docks as one travellers son was a merchant seaman in ww2 and brought them back . How true this is I don't know but that's how my father got told they come by them .

  15. I always look at these pics and think about how clean and fresh the land must've been back then . I mean not many cars only a fraction of the population of today and the fields and rivers must've been heaving with life .
  16. when that picture was taken they still had rationing and yet both the the family and dog look in fine fettle . They wouldn't of feed the dog on complete or tinned stuff so him and the family where probably in what ever he caught so he probably was a real pot filler !
