Right, I had to get up at 10 o'clock in the morning half an hour before I went to bed,drink a cup of sulphuric acid go to work down mill and pay mill owner for permission to go to work. And when we got home our father and mother would kill us and dance around singing hallelujah ! Lol youngster don't know they've got it so easy ?

lol yep I'll agree its a fact that a hound does have better scenting abilities than a terrier , otherwise you'd have century's of men in red coats riding horses with packs of terriers ?

lol got to say I watch them all in the summer holidays got turfed out though after either Heidi or Robinson Crusoe .

Its unfair to compare a terriers scenting ability to a hound or even flushing ability to a gun dog as it's the hound and the gun dogs primary function. Whereas a tykes primary function was to go to ground and scenting and flushing game is its secondry purpose . Like I said its unfair to compare a terrier to a hound but IMHO terriers are more versatile than any hound or any gun dog!

Max the state might have a few silly rules but they don't stop you letting your kids go fishing or doing any other activity .

I had to laugh when Ruth Ellis niece tried to blame the man that had given her aunt the gun . Rather than her aunt that had put one in her lover and another as he tried to crawl away !
