They won't be on here ...talking shite, back and forth with the daywalkers lol..that's a certain.... Theres Lads down south, doing good numbers nightly....lads from up Liverpool way happy to travel 3/400 mile a night, and getting on for double figures....then you got the Welsh lads that hunt the hills, forestry blocks and smash the M4 corridor from Bristol to London...

I've seen whippets steam into them, and try and stretch em lol...when we was kids,my mate had a Welsh springer spaniel, went everywhere with us..he drew more than most bull X's could ...I used to catch em nightly with a little 23" bitch, that looked like she was only good for rabbits...she would grab em ,give them a shake, hold them and I would finish them off quicktime with my buck knife....I've been out with loads of lads over the yrs...I've walked up and taken the quarry off their dogs and delt with it myself, because of all the f***ing about and noise bringing it on top ,same around a hole..

AA S400 not cocking all the way back
Iann replied to Tomo2000's topic in Reloading and Gun Maintenance
I had something similar with my first AA, and it turned out to be nothing too serious. Sometimes a brand-new rifle just has a bit of roughness in the action, so I gave mine a proper clean and a light oil and it made a big difference. Every now and then it would still catch, and in my case it came down to the sear needing a tiny adjustment. If you’re not used to messing with the internals yet, I’d say let someone who knows their way around these rifles take a quick look, it’s usually a simple fix and then it’ll run smooth. -
Research on Walter Coton cartridge maker
Iann replied to Jon.W's topic in Reloading and Gun Maintenance
I’ve actually come across Walter Coton’s name a couple of times while looking into old shooting and sporting history myself, mostly in the context of pigeon shooting and cartridge making. Some of the mid-1800s sporting magazines and papers used to run bits on well-known shots of the time, and I remember seeing Coton mentioned in passing. The British Newspaper Archive is a good place to dig, last time I searched I found a couple of old adverts for cartridges under his name, which might be useful for your research. If you’re lucky, you might stumble across references to his brochures or even som -
