Tories up 7000 votes in Sunderland and Labour down they still won but its a safe Labour seat I hope its a sign of things to come :thumbs:

Like I said, it doesn't seem quite right.....there's just something that feels wrong about the exit poll. Can't put my finger on it......
They seem to be doubting the exit poll on BBC now :laugh:

Definitely spotted some gentle back-pedalling just then !

The exit poll was done by a collaboration of BBC, ITV and Sky (before we get all anti - BBC.......)

 

It's just been said that "we may have to recalibrate our forecasts"......

 

 

The pundits and experts (what do they know is ?) are beginning to look a bit 'tense'...

Jees didn't think I'd be waking up to this fingers crossed for a slim majority and a coalition with the dup..... Christ this has back fired a bit had it not for her! Proud of Scotland voting Tory, John Lamonts mine now lost last time with 300 votes to the snp hopefully given sturgeon a bloody noses she'll be asking for referendum by 9 o clock mark my words

40% of the country voted for a proudly socialist manifesto and Jeremy Corbyn is the most successful Labour leader since Blair. All in all a good night :victory:

He certainly had a better campaign mate, the results speak for themselves. I think a lot people have seriously underestimated how split the country remained since Brexit.....;-)

Aye he did a bloody brilliant job against all the odds and not for the first time, just look at both leadership elections. Folk are finally starting to realise just how good he is at campaigning ;)
