Matt 160
Just to let everyone know, hunterlives forum will close down at 9pm tonight, as originally promised. There is only one £$%^&*()_+, and this is it. I'm not sure what plans SportingShooter and WorldHunters have for theirs.....

trappa 518
I really dont know the details of "why" and "when" but i was really pi**ed off today when i read that THL had shut. Question. if ian b is saying their is too much slagging off going on, why dont the mods boot off any trouble causers straight away? It seems really simple to me, but i obviously cant see the wood for the trees. can someone explain?

It seems really simple to me, but i obviously cant see the wood for the trees. can someone explain? couple of reasons, firstly we can ban a members e mail address, they simply get another e mail address and re join under a different name, so the only way is to ban the IP address, thats where the trouble starts, as certain internet providers, aol for one, use the same IP address for more than one member, so us banning an individual, could infact ban 100's, secondly, as has been seen lots of times, you ban one member, only to get multiple topics started titled, wheres so and so gone, wanting to know the ins and outs of a ducks arse, and slatting the mod who issued the ban,

However, god knows how long it would take for admin to go through all the registrations on a site like this......

I do think though, that after a while if you keep banning certain trouble causers then they will get sick.

SportingShooter 0
As soon as you delete someone, he has re registered within a few minutes under a completely unguessable alias until he starts posting, but he can still use the PM system to get his support from other members while he watches. More than one way to skin a cat. As I've no doubt the team are discussing right now SS
