I've had pretty pants week this week... it started going wrong monday evening, left work early and spent 3 hours stuck in a traffic jam within spitting distance of home, tuesday i spent all morning fitting a mortice lock in college and f****d up putting the keep on the frame, wednesday slept in for work and got left behind, so pissed the boss off and had to spend all day stripping a burnt out roof ready for the new trusses, thursday I nearly sliced the side off my left thumb off with a stanley knife and spent the evening in A&E to get it checked... although the nice trainee nurse (female) cancelled the A&E part of that out.... and today i was sat in the van eating my lunch, only to be splashed with pigeon shit... Av worked 4 days out of five feeling like death warmed up, the fifth day (today) i was feeling okay, but had to work lat on a FRIDAY....... glad to get these cans knocked into me!!!!! and tommorow, drainage to sort out in the dog run!!! higgins 75 Posted September 26, 2008 Report Share Posted September 26, 2008 well i was going to get myself up to Eskdale Show,but my boss asked me would i like to work this saturday,and my mind did a blank while it searched for forthcoming attractions/things to do.....but still it couldn't find the Eskdale show,so i agreed and as soon as i did i went on my break and lo and behold my mind had just finished scanning my 'important things to do list' and came up with the Eskdale Show!I'd been looking forward to this for the last few weeks,ah well there's always next year, Higgins. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
