Tinman 0
Hi Fish Try http://isohunt.com/ I also like http://thepiratebay.org/ which happen to have War of the Worlds. You will need a Bit Torrent which you can get here http://www.download.com/3120-20_4.html?tg=...rd&tag=srch My advice would be to stay well clear of Limewire,(Warning, There stuff is full of viruses,it will get you in the end). Tinman so many people using public trackers spot on with the rest though, limewire's a big no no, frostwires pretty good torrents are great if you stick with private trackers, im sure you'll find a private torrent site to suit the styles & genres you like, quick google search should throw a few up, if you do use torrents use utorrent and make sure protocol encrytption is enabled, lot less chance of getting caught
fishfish 17
right thats done! thanks, so whats 'seeding ' and why does it take forever?
speedlamper 0
seeders are people who leave something uploading that they've downloaded, torrents work by file sharing, the more you upload the higher your ratio and the faster downloads you get (on private tracker sites) limit your global uploads to 75kBs, when downloading the torrent more seeders & peers = more people to connect to so faster downloads

speedlamper 0
technology eh the simplest explanation i can find.. Seeding is where you leave your BitTorrent client open after you've finished your download to help distribute it (you distribute the file while downloading, but it's even more helpful if you continue to distribute the full file even after you have finished downloading). Chances are that most of the data you got was from seeds, so help give back to the community! It doesn't require much - µTorrent will continue seeding until the torrent is removed (right click the torrent, then hit Remove). However, it is important to be aware that while seeding, µTorrent is uploading using your internet connection, and if your internet service provider limits the amount you may upload in a given period, you may wish to monitor how long you seed torrents for.
