Army has arrived here overnight will be interesting to see what they do. Fingers crossed they keep it sensible. As it looks now they are hugely outnumbered and I think a huge amount of angry men in John Deere’s are capable of alot of damage.

Are you protesting?

Get some good pics to share as it won't be on MSM over here

Yes will get some pics now. Follow a man called Christopher Duffy he’s up in the heart of it and one of the organisers. A real gentleman and a good speaker speaks from the heart

I saw him interviewed  on GBNews.

Sounds sensible 👍

Cheers.

But you don’t support protests like this mate ?

Yes I do .

its possible to support some protests and not others.

I fully supported the protests against the hunting act , but don’t support pro Hamas, pro Ayatollah protests or upper class fools gluing themselves to roads over something that doesn’t affect them.

I support protests against government actions that affect people’s every day life , that could easily be avoided.

I would support fuel price protests here in the UK as the government is making huge profits in tax take when they could simply freeze the tax at the pre increase price and still make plenty.

Where do you think all this increased tax take will be spent ? Not on making our lives better or easier, I’d guess.

Frankly , I’m disappointed that you see things in such a binary way, “ you either support ALL protests or you support NONE”.

Cheers.

It is binary, you either support the right to protest or you don’t !

It’s the reason for the protest you get to choose.
I remember that JSO thread and remember people calling for all sorts of draconian measures against those people…..and I also remember saying “Careful what you wish for lads, what about the day it’s your thing you care about”

See how that works ?

It wasn’t just you in fairness so I’m not singling you out and it is of course fine to say “I was wrong, I’ve changed my mind” 👍
