Was chatting to someone I know yesterday and he asked me if I was still looking for a little couple of days a week job as I get a bit bored and the beer tokens come in handy so I says yes what’s going

Well good start Monday was an American bank holiday so today was my first full day on site, anyways after my first shift I’ve been told the job is mine but doesn’t start until March which is only 5 we

Good luck with the job greyman. I had a few years down south working the airfields and tips . I was 16 and lived down there a few years , living in caravans and living my best feral life. I worked on RAF Fairford ( American run base at the time ) and did a bit on RAF Brize Norton and a few land fill sites in Wiltshire and Slough . I loved it , flying the Bobs , ferreting , shooting, poaching lol and met some real characters who took me under there wing . Just a few old pics i have left .

Well good start Monday was an American bank holiday so today was my first full day on site, anyways after my first shift I’ve been told the job is mine but doesn’t start until March which is only 5 weeks away but the lads on base want me to start sooner so are chatting with the boss either way it looks like a cracking job in really beautiful surroundings especially in summer and all being good should carry me on to my pension

Alot of bases photos are not allowed...we often have to cover the dash cam up as well...

depends on the base...some are stricter than others....its a shame as well cos on lots of bases there's history all over weather it's photos on a wall in an office...or a statue outside
