Well I've toyed with the idea of ripping the bath out and putting a shower in , but that might be a far as it gets , I'll probably be gorging on cheese and pate dealing with gout and alcoholism rather than grout and hygieneism....

I finish on 19th and will not be going back. After 51 years working that will be my last day 👍🏻

Good luck . Have you got lots of hobbies to keep you busy.

Plenty to go at but I’ll have days when I just potter about at home, that’s the idea isn’t it, taking life easier?

Won't be long and you'll wonder how you had time for work...

I’ll be beating three days a week during the season and helping out in between with pest control, stalking throughout the year and out at night shooting, I hunt, I’ll be doing bird surveys in spring, I spend a lot of time walking on the fells, I’ve three kids and six grand kids to help out. I intend visiting a few auctions next year and a great friend has invited me up to Orkney anytime I like to stay on his farm, so lots to look forward to 👍🏻

I break up at 2pm on the 24th , and go back in at 6am on the 27th.  It's a bit shite , but some of the lads at work will be working on Christmas day.
