chartpolski 28,701 Posted yesterday at 15:09 Report Share Posted yesterday at 15:09 Last time I was in New Zealand, Swanndri were very expensive but were 100% pure wool. Now they are not quite as expensive and are 100% polyester. I may be wrong but I heard production had moved to China ? Cheers.

We get bekina wellies nowadays which are a mile better than the shite we used to get. There is always that aspect to contend with. In the past I've been given boots that needed a hammer taken to them and soaked in polish for a week before wearing them but they still wrecked your feet. I make sure the boots we issue are comfortable to wear straight out the box. But I will get a call, such and such (usually an apprentice) has left his boots on site and forgot he going to another site after college. Can I order him a new pair? NO! More cost effective to have garments made in China mate, the shop price would rocket if the clothing was produced in the UK.Manufactured in China doesn’t make it inferior, the pattern is the same.

I have to admit mate I am impressed with the quality on clothes I have mentioned looks like the Chinese have got there act together regarding quality and sizes that used to be an issue years ago.
