ABS Sensors

Any advice ? abs light came on plugged machine in and it read front abs offside fault i changed it light still on so thought maybe the new sensor was faulty so replaced it light still on

After market parts can sometimes cause that or the sensor is not the fault ?

Pick up ring contaminated or broken down what motor is it ?

As above, I think I’ve had more phonic wheel failures when it comes up with a sensor fault than in being the sensor itself

if the advice doesn`t work just pull the bulb out!!!

Last three times it’s happened to me, on different cars, it’s been the pick up ring cracked, not the sensor.

Yes I read same somewhere I contacted Isuzu Dealer they wanted £300 for a sensor

I’d definitely check the phonic on a D max they are a rotor type and are external to the hub, so get all the weather on them

I had the same on my missus Suzuki Swift, turned out to be unbalanced tyre pressures after the sensor had been replaced.

Might try checking that before you spend any more cash?

Common error, computer says part faulty, changed part and still not fixed.  Computer does not say part faulty it says fault detected in a sub-system, you still need to test the system or component, most can be checked with a half decent multimeter others need more advanced test gear. On your car what was the error, no signal or improbable signal?
