Leeview 792
does the £ coin come with it? genuine question cos never ever used it? Won a few sacks and gave them to a rescue in Stoke Quote Link to post
Luckee legs 542
If they are not used to dried food it maybe worth trying a couple of brands. I feed mine mostly on dried in the late spring to summer and flesh when its cooler. They are fussy about switching to dried and clearly prefer some brands. no longer made but James Wellbeloved was the best, I use vitalin now. some other brands they dont like particularly. this year I started giving some lactose free milk when they are on dried. In Tesco its £2.45 for 1.5 L so goes a long way. They dont scour as they do on normal milk Quote Link to post
fred90 3,437
mine would rather starve than eat it. 2 Quote Link to post

Franks dad 2,645
Mine have access to dried all the time , it’s more of a back up for them if they get hungry between raw meals when I’m at work and through the night . Never had a ferret refuse it . 1 Quote Link to post

techworm 29 Posted Sunday at 23:56 Report Share Posted Sunday at 23:56 I would be careful feeding dry food to ferrets. From my experiences they are prone to intestinal blockages which can be fatal. Quote Link to post
The one 8,597 Posted Monday at 12:55 Report Share Posted Monday at 12:55 Tried them once on dry food they up ended the bowl scattered it all over the floor and i thought when they are hungry they will eat it nope . I get stuff from 2 gamekeepers and at the end of the shooting season i fill 3 freezers with pheasants and partridges to feed them all summer takes a bit more work than dry but its worth it Quote Link to post
