fred90 3,400 Posted Friday at 14:49 Report Share Posted Friday at 14:49 thought the whippet had got her first hare, to be fair she has only run around four, off the ditch on winter wheat, 3 tight turns and I thought she's got it this time, as they got to the tree everything stopped, Hartley had disappeared into it 13 Quote Link to post

TOMO 29,215 Posted yesterday at 15:44 Report Share Posted yesterday at 15:44 It's amazing where hares will dive in to when being chased... Had 1 similar 20 odd year ago go in to a hollow branch that went up at an angle...from the ground to around 5 foot off the ground....it was quite rotten and you could touch the hare through the holes in it.... We left it in peace...it had done a good job to evade the bitch 7 Quote Link to post
