It's amazing where hares will dive in to when being chased...

Had 1 similar 20 odd year ago go in to a hollow branch that went up at an angle...from the ground to around 5 foot off the ground....it was quite rotten and you could touch the hare through the holes in it....

We left it in peace...it had done a good job to evade the bitch

She'll snaffle one mate ,my old whippet took good few ,they wasn't given any kind of law,he'd push them out there seats and if he was going to get it it would be with in couple turns ,
