On my way back from liverpool and i must say the disappointment is bad, what has happened to the scouse peoples? Feck me we stayed in the city centre and its not what i was expecting, the old architecture is beautiful but the junkies and drugs are all over it, the feckin brown peoples are taking over it, now i went to the cavern and to me thats the faint pulse from a dying city and peoples, on our way to John lennons house it was like driving through Pakistan and the 3rd world rubbish walking and laying in the streets, lads wtf is going on? Fecking gay rainbows over all the city council signs too, i know times change but i went to see the beatles and the mersey beat scene but its not there, it was like a different place

What were you expecting from a city of that size. An all white population, with 2.5 children and all neatly kept semi's, all washing cars on a Sunday. Or KKK supremacy and burning crosses on every corner..?? You probably travelled from the city centre to Menlove Avenue via Toxteth, and Smithdown. Been multicultural down there for over 100 years. Though your districts away from the Lennon/ Strawberry Felds stuff... We are a city of immigration and diversity..!! My city is as beautiful now as it's ever been, with suburbs that are rich in both history and architecture. Try googling how many films are made all over the city. Sure, like most large cities, some of the terraced suburbs like Kirkdale, Old Swan, Kensington, and my old gaff Anfield, are now in serious decline, but as a whole Liverpool is still moving forward. All the Matthew Street 'Beatle mania' is just 'tat for tourists' like you, BUT it's a million miles away from a 'dying city'... If you ever decide to come back, then let me know, and I'd be happy to guide you...

Yes ill be back over a fair few times as we took the daughter to uni there, that was the point of the trip, the architecture is stunning, i didnt come back to mock the city, i was just shocked that the 3rd worlders have just opened their doors and let the rubbish go, feckin trampy bastar ds, i know all about the hard working culture there as my great grand father worked over there during ww2, it reminded me of home (Belfast) as it was its ship yard that was the big industry. No offence but the 3rd worlders come out mostly at night too which was a bit unnerving for the daughter, which i cant say i blame her

THE STIFFMEISTER 17,339
The problem with Liverpool is that it’s full of scousers
WataWalloper 3,800
I spent lots a lots time in liveroool, best mate was from there an we visited regular, never really liked the night life or city centre tho, for me the best part was going into the schemes an being round the proper scousers, that’s where I felt most welcome, but I was always with somebody known, I find it very much like Glasgow an them like Glaswegians, there hospitality is out this world, if they like you haha
