Ahh….the nostalgia !

All the local pubs had domino handicaps on a Saturday and Sunday morning, very well attended and good prize money.

Also had darts and pool handicaps and the whippet lads would all be in there after the racing , arguing who had the best dog and throwing out challenges !

Now it's families with kids out for dinner on a Sunday and everyone watching football on a Saturday, pubs aren’t what they were, well at least for old Luddite’s like me !

There was a fellow that just to play dominoes up at our social club it was a way of selling fags and whisky under the tables with people his own age groups never to any hoody skank he would tell them to push off did not like them sort at all
