My deer x bitch loses weight and condition during her season so I give her similar to that, but chicken and tripe. It seems to work .

We’ve been discussing feeding raw green tripe on my WhatsApp group and all agree it’s great grub for dogs .

Cheers.

There's a few choices, you can just get beef & chicken mince but he doesn't like it as much as the tripe and beef mix.

Thats the only photo of her i have, I used to take her lamping, ferreting mooching as a young lad. She knew more than me and was a great bitch to make a keen young lad stay keen. Yep that's me with me

I had a collie/ grey which had the speed of a collie and the intelligence of a greyhound. Great at retrieving sticks. Took it out one night in a 'hot' area and showed it a roebuck on the lamp. We

My niece came over from New Zealand and bought a Lab from Lochside Kennels in Scotland. I had it in my kennel until she sorted out the paper work to take it home. I had it out one day with a

Tripe? Definitely. I used to buy a whole tripe for a quid. Sometimes still warm. Dogs would go crazy for it.

Attracts the flies like nothing else, c**ts have better noses than bloodhounds.

when you say family life and convenience I wondered how my family and neighbours felt back in the 60’s and 70’s when the “BabyBurco” was bubbling away all day filled with tripe, lites, pluck, sheeps heads etc ? LOL !

Cheers.

Yes. I had a mate who boiled sheep heads every day. The stink from his house was unbearable.  He had an understanding  wife.

I've been feeding my pup raw and kibble, not sure it's the best quality as it's mince beef & tripe, 80-10-10 mixture. Yes the flies are a nightmare and they basically after finish what you serve. Thankfully now the pup is finishing one of these in the one sitting so I don't have to feck about putting it back in the fridge.

There the exact ones I use mate. Get them from a mates raw shop but he obviously buys them in. I pay £1 each off him for anyone's I want but sure he sells them for anything from 120-150 ish. Can get cheaper at another place thinks it's £1 for 800g but that takes me half hour to get there so just go with the closer option. Mine will eat anything so if we go away I'll take some for as long as they will last like I have while I'm away now but I've also got some bits from supermarket which they will eat just as well. I see a massive difference in my dogs if I only feed kibble . Done it for a few weeks before and I could see the difference

My dogs get plenty of tripe. My grandad used to breed Shepard's in the 70s and he swore by it

Tbh I've been using the Bulmers brand and for the reason you just said, the pet shop is 2 mins from mine and the other one is over 20 mins, it's slightly more expensive but time is money. Lol

I've got a chest freezer I can get just under 80 of those in. Just wait till the day it's empty to restock . Keep that day and nexts out and fit rest in . Small fridge next to it and let them thaw in there . Stops any flys . I only feed once a day to my older dogs,  pups different he gets the more expensive stuff for ease that come in packets with veg and stuff . Can take handful or two out it's defrosted in couple of hours

My current dogs won’t eat green tripe.. and when they do it goes through them… they love mince tripe from the pet shop, but full green tripe, no chance. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Back when dogs roamed there was a good few lab x collies about, used for allsorts, like a handy lurcher with no gears

The generic street mongrel? Usually described as lab x collie or lab x Alsation, even though there were very few pure collies, labs or GSD's about 🙂 Still made good hunting dogs though for kids with nothing else to use. 1 of the best old fashioned type find and catch lurchers that I've known was result of a mate putting 1 of "our" black collie mongrels over 1 of his dad's non-ped whippets. He was the perfect dog to find game in places that game had no right to still be existing and knew not to rely on speed to catch it. If it was there, he'd find it, and often catch it.

Every time these topics come up I think they'd be a better option than any type of lab🤷‍♂️

Think most would be lab x collies👍

this is the place I use but I get local delivery so I don't know how much their nationwide delivery is but they are worth a look through their prices.
