As I said before mate, certain things you can’t hide and the penalty’s told the whole story……you see the absolute lack of power they are able to generate out of their legs when they strike a ball.

And there you have it, the difference between women and men physically !…….we all know it, it’s not news.

One of the England ladies most famous football players ever is the daughter of a well known gentleman of our village, it's a shame she came around in the wrong era, Karen Walker.

Would they a mens pub team. My brother plays football for a Saturday and Sunday league. And he even said the girls played well to say most of the original team have retired now. So back to basics but seem to gel. These young lasses have done good for our country. Spain did play well. But the lasses got that goal to draw didn't give up defeated. That lass for us in net was class.

Just take I for what it was. An England victory against top opposition. I watched the whole game and enjoyed it. I don't normally watch women's football.

The players were unashamedly nationalistic in the best possible way. And didn't  psychologically fall apart in the shoot out. I was chuffed we won it.

All the talk about taking the knee, women's football  being inferior to men's etc are side issues. Taking the knee irritates everybody and is now counter productive. It is probably embarrassing for  the black players.

I just get why you guys compare it...

Like you guys I don't watch it...got no interest...but I just don't get why you guys compare it....of course there not as good as men....almost no sport is...just biology isn't it...

But I've got no issues with women's sport of any kind...professional or amateur 

Should they get paid as much as men....YES if they generated the same revenue but they don't....so NO...comes down to economics...

She won't be at 15/16 though mate.. as my previous post i would actively encourage girls to get into any sport, ots good for your body and mind, it's only positive...but... there is a massive push to put the woman's game in the same light as the men's and for most lads that's watched/player football all their life the contrast is stark.. incomparable really..

I watch the Gary Neville podcast, you've got Jill Scott on there, I like her she seems a decent type... but she's conversing on equal terms with Roy Keane, saying about how they both played midfield and his tough the position is etc... im sorry but when she was playing the woman's game was still amature, they played in front of 50 people on a Saturday morning...Keane was possibly the best midfielder of his generation winning champions leagues and premiership most years... she's in that conversation because she's a woman, and it ticks a box... as I said she's a decent sort, bit of a laugh etc...but cmon

I do.....but whats that got to do with it getting too much coverage......Cbeebies isnt on both mainstream channels on a Sunday aftenoon because it doesnt warrant the coverage....but yes you could still turn it off if it was,so what.

Those that know, know mate…….everyone is polite enough not to mention it on the podcast.

But, my lad said yesterday watching that final “this is tragic” and I replied with what is, imho, the go to response for all sport….i said “It is, but, they are playing in one more European final than you or me have ever played in” 

There it is…..
