No feck off! I want more of what I want, the meat. And the shittyarsed look he gives you when you ask for all the offcut trimmings. Woe betide anyone who asks for them infront of me..!!!! So, i almost always I end up pissed off, and them posh ones are even worse, so it's not the best start to a meal. That said, my two love a carvery, and the Mrs, looks for the midweek deals at Toby. Lately I've been a couple of times and for around six quid each, it's good value. Feck paying anymore for it though... You've got to play the game, tell them not to be shy with the meat, refuse the pud and then when you've filled your plate you change your mind and ask for said pud.

It's not often I use a carvery, only when I'm to bone idle to cook fer missen, when asked if I'd like a giant Yorkshire pud, I say id like two please on top of one another, he looks confused, but leaves room on my plate fer whatever, Edited June 26 by iworkwhippets

pesky1972 5,634
Do like a carvery. Probably best I’ve had was in O’Neill’s pub in Suffolk Street Dublin about 30 year ago. Went back a few year ago and it was okay, but nothing like as good as first time round.
