I wouldn't think the UK blood would be any good nowadays with all the show shit about but I'd love to be wrong. I've always had a soft spot for the breed. My cousin had one back around late 80's,early 90's and she was a machine. Guard all-day then spend the night knocking foxes on the farm. Quote Link to post

Early eighties my mate bought a pup out of a pure doberman bitch, guard dog to an allotment, to a whippet cross deer/grey, also kept at same allotment. Bitch he picked was OK for a few lamped rabbits, if they weren't close to any cover/hedges. He then bred her to a collie/grey cross sal/grey, and kept a dog and a bitch pup out of that litter. Both were fairly useful alrounders, to be honest. Quote Link to post
