I was given a 18 mt old sal x greyhound whippet that came from good working line and he put plenty away in 9 years I had him but he also came with few problems he would never have had if I'd got him from a pup ,

just because a dog good worker isn't everything,they need to be able to fit into your family and have manners around other dogs etc etc 

Id be very wary about buying young adult dogs doing the job ,why's it for sale if it's so fcuking good ?
