Personal/family protection dog

Recommended Posts

A good guard dog is worth it's weight in gold, firstly it's a great deterrent, secondly it gives you warning and thirdly the peace of mind. Only the most desperate and sinister criminals would knowingly break in to a house when there's a snarling bundle of teeth waiting at the other side

Nowhere rougher than where I grew up...I was always taught, you don't take off those with less than you...and we never robbed Our own... then the smack hit the streets....any morals folks once had...went out the window 😔

When smack hit the streets robbing old folk became more common. As far as a detterant if i lived in a remote place I reckon a GSD would be my first choice of dog as well as the most up to date security.

You can't really get much better can you, there's no need for any of these new fad breeds.

I was a kid but knew three active burglars in my street, and there was no smack around at that time, they had no morals whatsoever,it was a terrible area for a kid.

You always get a few wrong uns.. around here you would have to answer for your crimes, certain men/families would f**k you up...your extended family would also have to go👍

No one gave a f**k up there then Dan,for a while the place was known as matchstick city for the arson attacks, few kids died,it was survival of the fittest, the place just had a really bad feel to it constantly,I was always on edge as a kid, totally different to the place I live nowadays.

I think that’s very naive mate, not digging you out or anything.

That school of thought is based on the assumption that these people care about a prison term…..I have to tell you mate, they don’t….they could not  give two fucks about getting 2 years or lifed off, not a bit of heed about it.

Anyone who think prison is a deterrent to people who have abandoned civilised ideas and just live by base instinct has not, imho, thought it through very well.

Why’s that though mate because prison is hardly a punishment in the uk these days it’s like a holiday resort hardly a deterrent is it.

Look at the likes of Dubai and that crime is a minimal whys that ?

Perhaps because you'd get your hands chopped off instead of 6 months at Butlins? Lol
