Petrol engines burn as clean as yiull get really I thought planes ran on similar but you learn something everyday 

All I know mate is when running the smiley tipper on aviation fuel I had to add a shot of two stroke oil to it

Perhaps you are thinking of the erroneously named fuel “AvGas” ? Which isn’t a gas, it the shortened name of Aviation Gasoline, which is a highly refined petrol , not a gas

I think Lockheed were the main contractor, but many companies will have been involved , but as far as I’m aware, the original launcher was found unsuitable so SpaceX were contracted to build the new one

Just to add; I was employed most of my working life in Aviation, with the likes of Lockheed, The Royal Saudi Airforce and Saudi Arabian Airlines, but I’ve been retired and “out of the loop” for 22 years, and had no recurrent training, and with the pace technology is improving my current knowledge is limited although I do try to keep up

from what ive read on it space x and blue origin will be involved with lunar landings on future Artemis ventures in 2028 but are not involved with Artemis 2

I don’t want to dwell on it; as I said, I’m well out of the loop these days but my understanding is SpaceX and Blue will be involved with the Lunar landing module of Artemis 4 but SpaceX built the launch module of Artemis 2.

Its academic anyway, there’s some who think the whole project is a hoax
