No mate he still lives in Exeter, he's toyed with the idea of spending longer periods out there, but is a bit of a creature of habit so uses it as a holiday escape. Molyvos the capital is a lovely little place with all the restaurants and nice little bay I remember when I was there a good few years back George Bush senior visited and moored his luxury yacht in the bay, the two natural gulfs and natural springs are also interesting, I’m starting to sound like Alan Whicker lol… 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I tell you what Mack if your sisters into wildlife she needs to get to Costa Rica and if you haven’t been yourself you would love it, a visit to the Monte Verde cloud forest is a must do and a nip over the border to Nicaragua is interesting to say the least lol. My sis is like a female Alan Whicker,normally has 2 or 3 decent holidays a year,she is going to the Maldives from Sri Lanka on Monday,her bloke is a boring drip,loves sitting around a pool on an all inclusive for a fortnight.She will be meeting me in Niagara in a few months time. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Borr 7,570 Posted May 30 Report Share Posted May 30 Did Catalonia last year was great beach holiday, hired a car had a cottage I found online with pool etc but it was a lot of driving, we enjoyed , cost a fair bit. Just got back from Cornwall had good weather , got a house for the price of a caravan on Sykes , didn't have the drag of flying etc kids went on mackerel boat , crabbing was their highlight, did a river boat and beach days, had an unexpected rnli tour , lots of seafood,was fantastic tbh took both dogs . 7 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
