Because regular joe shouldn't own a bulldog and game terriers and game  bulls are completely different animals I'm sure theres plenty boys have working bulls but the game bulls are better staying on t

Iv'e kept and worked terriers of years now ,but not once did i ever enter a terrier into a earth to go fight with it's quarry and i always did my best in not owning a hard dog or if i had one to use i

Took the words out my mouth....seems a very fishy/fishing thread to be honest. In a country that banned the "type" over 30yrs ago, and the most recent raids ending in a 5yr stretch, you really have to

I’m on about the uk mate

They’re about just people don’t like to talk on forums about them to much. The same as game birds etc etc

Years ago guises they were about with say people who upgraded from a staff to a put or EBT to a put American bulldog to a put but now there no longer around anymore as a petbull I knew plenty of lads who had game dogs as pets.

i know on here you won’t find many PitBull enthusiasts I was just curious what the hunting lads thought of the decline in the game Dog as I see it 👍🏼

I'd say from the stupid s**t you're writing you don't actually know as much as you think you do.

As a man on here has said there about, just not talked about as much, times have changed, the Internet, mobile phones, instant communication, etc has led to this,I love the pitbulls, especially bred through a greyhound, had a full bitch years ago, sweet as pie until it got a taste, then was a liability

It shocks me to see the lack of interest in the game dog ‘ how can people admire game terriers and not own a APBT. The dog is becoming a rare breed among hunters and game dog enthusiast although there is no dog like them. What are all your thoughts on this?

Since the birth of the bully 🤢 it’s like they have just dropped off the planet. Let’s hope

people realise that this is a terrible shame if they become so rare it will be hard to find a game one amongst what’s left..

I think it's a good thing. Most people don't have the experience or knowledge to keep these dogs and it's the dogs that suffer most. I agree they have great temperaments when treated correctly and I raised my kids around them in the house. They are too much as hunting dogs on dangerous animals imo, just too game and that leads to too many injuries. The English bull is far more popular over here for hunting crosses, enough balls for the job without being over the top. Best thing that happened to the breed for it's sake is it's decline in popularity.

anyone who says I wouldn’t leave my kids with theM has never owned one…

I kept APBT's for over 30 years and I wouldn't leave my kids alone with them, same with any powerful breed, that's neglect. They were around my kids but I'm very watchful and aware of a dog's mood and acted on this when needed. I also taught my kids to respect all animals at all times.

I agree but again, a bulldog is going against a willing combatant, yes it's very brutal but it is no more severe than some of the things that goes off in the field. I don't think I'd have the stomach to do that game, a roll, yes, fair enough, but taking them to the brink and beyond when they have given their all, takes someone with a colder heart than mine.

A roll is a test of the dog the match is a test of the man.
