Yes,. .Anastasia produced a better class of Deerhound for the original job, and some, were even passable at organised hare coursing,.. (although it was never their proper vocation).. Back in the

Didn't one or two of them soldiers stay out 30 year or something....like one of mchull dogs reeling a hare in...lol

I was the judge and gave it “Champion Lurcher” , based solely on looks, condition, conformation and temperament. Its impossible to judge on working ability unless you have personally seen the dog

long lead e collar and a bit a scruffin lol

You can break any dog with a lead on. It's different when the lead comes off. I've changed my mind about your mutts mc. If it ain't interested in deer after a bit of Yorkshire scruffin,it lacks prey drive. Especially in the slop.

I’ve had this dickhead head down into a valley and twinkle toes up a mountain into France before now lol. Ain’t no chance of stopping him when he whiffs/sees deer, never caught one mind but I couldn’t imagine breaking him to a fleeing Bambi. Wish I’d hunted him proper in his prime. Completely my fault, not the dog’s

Aye near abouts mate, stripped out around 36-37kg. Still runs like the wind and never tires even at nearly 11years old. Would love to line him on a good bitch and get a pup…. And hunt the f**k out of it, now I have the time and means to get around Spain ;)

He’s a big lad, broad chest and shoulders. Massive engine at the back. Barely any fat even in summer when he’s on downtime (as in not much in the mountains or running about in 30C heat)

Not the best pic but you can see his height and muscle tone

Pure deerhounds can get upto over 50kg mate a decent greyhound can 33kg bitch dogs about what you say 35kg bit more. So 37kg for a deerhound x greyhound no bother maybe more if not hunting fit an in exercise
