Got a 9 month old whippet and she’s doing well, showing all the right signs caught 10 now. Been out lamping a few times but it seems to have gone dead, I know there is plenty up there and I’m the only one who goes there. What time does everyone go out lamping I’ve been going about 6:30-7pm is this too early?

I remember a bit of land I used to lamp at 9.30-10.00 often see not a thing come midnight the rave had started…..Whilst you’re no doubt keen leave them a few weeks and then go out later ideally on a windy night. After a couple of shines rabbits will run at the first sign of a lamp or even a person. I’ve got a thermal that shows a lot further than a lamp and they are running sometimes when your nowhere near.

Midnight on wards. You'll find lads who've got permission will be out at that time. Not doing there job keeping quarry down some do. But you'll get the prick that just go out looking for lads poaching. Like they've never started off the same odd hour out late on. You'll find soon as some get permission they become pricks. You'll get some popping up now on post. That its hit a nerve trust me. There the ones.
