Don’t know where they go. Been a nest on a golf course 2 minutes from me for a few years now. Last Autumn there were 6 young birds kicking about together, I assume all fledged from the same nest. Quite a sight. Here’s the male my daughter has a bird table and feeders out about 100 yards from were they nested last year and he’s onto it lol

Awesome little killing machines. The males ( Muskets ) are smaller and dainty little things. Awesome birds

Cheers Arry Bit of a situation today, Wifey and I have been watching the progress and she had started to sit 8 eggs. Only today the hen bird was in distress tangled in wool of some sort around her legs. Well we watch for an hour and she was getting in more of a state as the wool got more and more built up. At this point Wifey is getting more and more worked up say I've got to do something. Bloody hell. So out with the ladder went up put tape over the entrance took the box of the wall put it in a plastic sack and took the lid off. managed to get hold of the Blue tit, christ poor bugger tangled right up. Cleaned all the crap off managed to put her back in the box and replace and take the tape off. Anyway we watch took about half an hour for her to sort of come around after the ordeal. She the flew off I think she will dessert as she has not come back. Shame really but could not just watch her die. Cheers Arry
