The parents both good but were bringing in caterpillars that were bit to big so being a soft old twat I went and bought some live mealy worms and put up the garden. Well at first they got a few but the Jackdaws moved in and cleared them. so put some old netting over the the Tits can get in but the Corvids cant. Its good to watch after I put them out both parents are bringing them in. Put the trail cam looking down. Cheers Arry

They would come up behind a line of ducklings and pick off the tail ender and fly off with it. Cheers Arry

dytkos 17,917
Left the doors open when I took the dogs out, baby robin on the curtain rail when I came back. Cheers, D.
pesky1972 5,629
Got a decent sized bit of lawn at the back and now the garden’s full of young starlings, mouths agape, running round after the adults which are busy rooting for leatherjackets. Had the sprinkler out on Sunday and some came in for a ‘shower. It was interesting watching the different characters.., how some were bold and some were very cautious. It’s a dangerous time whilst they’re still learning to get about. Came out to a pile of feathers this morning, which I’d usually chalk up to the neighbourhood sparrowhawk, but suspect the murderer was a carrion crow that was drinking out the bird bath.., no doubt washing down one of the bold or slow Starlings.
