Theres a bass regulation or ban too Very strict season for him mate, 3 months I think .. he was one of the last boats using seine nets on the exe for salmon, been in our family for 70 years, his dad (my uncle) is 93 now and had the boat before, he still has a couple of ferrets and does a bit of wildfowling.. my cousin is a proper river man, grew up on it (like a few of us), long lines for gilt heads when the eel season finishes... Same here on bass mate, 2 bag limit over 42cm long and lots of nursery areas...
