I thought from day one she would make a cracking lamping dog,the best of the three, although the two dogs have had bigger hauls she's the one that looks good on the eye & I still believe long term she will be the best at that genre of hunting. She wouldn't get embarrassed in the daytime either on small or big land, she is a sharp little dog but she also has a good set of lungs on her if it became a war. She's not the biggest bitch you would ever see,I'd say she's about 25tts & weighs about 60lb,I think she will be a better animal next season after having a break & hopefully coming in season & maturing a little more. She's a nice little bitch & to be fair anyone who sees the three together in the flesh nearly all say they like her the best out of them..we shall hopefully know a lot more about her this time next year bud. 5 Quote Link to post

Where I reside it's been so wet & still is it's been quite unbelievable really even though I live in what is one of the wettest places places in the UK anyway..in past years we've had serious flooding, bridges, roads swept away etc but just for relentless, prolonged rain I've never known anything like it in my 60 year's of living here, from September 1st 2025 until now March 8th 2026 I don't believe we've had 15-20 day's max where it hasn't rained,it's been incessant to the point of driving one up the fecking wall..anyone who owns a running dog up these parts & says ground conditions haven't been suitable this season are talking shite that is unless their dogs don't like to hear their feet squelching in hock deep water & mud..I'm up in Cumbria for what it's worth, how have you found things in your locality this past season? Ferreting and night shooting since middle of August...right up till Xmas 5 days/ nights a week...mostly down south though...no massive bags mid 30's I think best bag.. 1 Quote Link to post

That's a honest and fair estimate andy for some reason I always preferred her over the others hopefully next season she comes in to her own and I'm sure she will cracking little bitch that Quote Link to post
