All of them will catch 100% , just depends if the fish are where you are casting and hungry ….. fish to structures and if there  are any popular maggot drowner fishing spots hit them early evening , people dump the maggots fish catch on and so do the predators ..

Crap little session, had a take at the bank first cast , second cast went in brambles and so it went on, had a small jack in the end spent more time tying knots half blind...need to organise better..

I'd try the spikey shad and the white curly tail, try fast and slow retrieve and wiggle the tip of rod as you retrieve, tight lines...

Thanks mate was out this morning at first light up to my tits in the Temu waders.  Had a quick hour and no joy

I'd also say have 3 or 4 chicks and walk on , if you get a decent take leave it and come back I normally fish in on direction and on the return walk I swap lures ...

Had another pb tonight , went out for an hour or two fish quite hard walked a mile of canal , put a big lure on when I headed back nothing..., had a couple of last ditch attempts at bridge and caught a small jack, so called it , started walking back to car and thought I'd have a couple of chucks in the little reed filled swims where the tench and silver fish guys have a go.. second swim a light knock which got my attention, I let the lure drop and then started to retrieve again and bang, biggest fight I've had , had my lightest rod bent in half about six times took me in the reed beds both sides , went slack at one point and I was sure he was gone I decided to try and work it out of the reeds and he torpedoed out and screamed off again finally managed to get his head in the net , well chuffed , I was buzzing...

It looks brown bread that on first image with mouth and gills mate. Great fish though. Should be please with that.

Just been reading uk water have been found with long turn dangerous chemicals ffs. Just be careful with kids near water mate. They haven't said what the chemicals are yet. Not good though.
