Getting an absolute nightmare getting renewal sorted, it's taking months in some cases, I've had 2 mates sign guns over to me because their certificates are running out even tho they've put renewals in months in advance, 1 mate has said fck it and said keep the guns I'm out, which I think is what they your mates

Your mates could have got a gunsmith to hold them for him until the paperwork was sorted. My son moved house and whilst he was between two addresses he signed the guns over temporarily. Its a common arrangement.

Damn south Dakotas got a milf governor out here dropping live stock killing coyotes to help out ranchers and I'm stuck in Mississippi with a overweight middle aged dude who can't seem to do shit right

Walking is better IMO, driving the fields has done more to cause shit with landowners than anything else

Just a memory now, when lewis was fighting tyson, a few of us was in our 2nd home from home (foxford co mayo) we were in the pub and the guvnor said if people keep buying drink he will do a lock in fo

It can get a bit expensive when you lodge your guns with a rfd . My mate has a dozen guns lodged at the moment,  at the cost of £1.00 per day , per gun . He's been paying £84.00 per week for about a year now , while the police sort issues with his ticket.

The sad part is that the guns are worth pennies , but they were his dad and grandads guns , and he can't bring himself to scrap them.

The stupid part , is that it's his own fault .

He bought a new pup , and wanted to be at home for a few weeks to house train it. So , he went to the doctors for a sick note,  and told them that he was getting stressed at work , and it was causing him to get depressed.  Within 24 hours the police had been in touch , and told him that his guns had to be out of the house.

Yes any mental health condition is flagged to the police now.  MIght stop a gun owner seeking treatment that is genuinely needed. Not good.

its a cluster f**k of nobody wanting to take responsibility. Everybody wants to think that if anything happens then the blame lies elsewhere, Madness and is only going to get worse.

That's true, but it's not just the new generation of lefties who misguidedly embrace whacko causes from transgenderism  to the alleged  mistreatment of animals during field sports. The whole of the UK, left , right and liberal  has become 'Disneyfied'.

The nordic countries are  politically left  and America very right wing, but field sportsmen  in these countries are free to pursue their hobbies without this constant 'moral majority' of hysterical criticism  and legislation you get here. Nobody would dream of interfering with others' ways of life in these countries. There's something unique about the UK and its mad restrictions. Something sick and way out of kilter.

Personally I prefer women to pursue traditionally female pursuits. Lets be honest. There's a woman on my salmon beat who changes the whole atmosphere when she's there. Like the woman in the picture, she wears half a pound of make up to go fishing, so the riverbank smells like a brothel . Plus I have to watch where she is all the time,  in case I expose myself when I'm peeing. Theres not a lot to see, but  at my age I pee little and often, so I have to keep a constant eye on her movements. Lol

"Have to watch where she is all the time."

"have to keep a constant eye on her movements "

" Women are evil Your Honour   they should know their place . "

" She wears make-up and perfume an evryfing. "
